The Affiliate AI Writer Kit (equip affiliates with their own AI)

Instead of only handing affiliates finished assets, we hand them the machine that writes assets. A downloadable kit they drop into whatever AI they already use (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, NotebookLM) that turns it into their personal PostSnag content writer. Three pieces:

1. The knowledge file (postsnag-affiliate-knowledge.md): one self-contained markdown file with everything about PostSnag: what it does, who it's for, every feature and what it's good for, how capture works (browse and collect, your own account, public content only), the free tier, real objections and answers, the approved claims list, and the banned vocabulary (no "scrape," no income promises, no made-up stats). This file IS the product knowledge; the AI never has to guess.

2. The writer instructions, shipped in every format so nobody is left out: a Claude skill file, a custom GPT setup (instructions + the knowledge file), a plain copy-paste master prompt for Gemini or anything else, and a NotebookLM-ready version. All four are the same brain: an AI that knows PostSnag cold and knows how to write scroll-stopping Facebook copy, viral X threads, short video scripts, and emails.

3. The personalization interview. The first thing the AI does is ask who the affiliate is: age, life situation, audience, platform, how they talk. Then every piece of content comes out in THEIR voice for THEIR audience. The older retired guy gets content that sounds like him. The young mom gets hers. The college student gets his. Same product truth underneath, completely different skin. This is the whole point: a thousand affiliates producing content that doesn't look like a thousand copies of one template.

Why this matters

Pre-made assets get pasted verbatim by everyone, the platforms start recognizing the duplicate text, and it all underperforms. An affiliate with a personalized writer produces unlimited native-sounding content, stays motivated because it actually sounds like them, and never hits "I don't know what to post." It also costs us nothing per use: they run it on their own AI accounts.

Guardrails (non-negotiable, built into the instructions)

• Only claims from the approved list in the knowledge file. The AI refuses to invent stats, user counts, or results.

• Always includes the affiliate's disclosure (FTC) in generated posts and emails.

• Banned vocabulary enforced: no "scrape/scraper/bot/spy," no income guarantees, no "Meta approved" claims.

• The AI inserts the affiliate's own referral link placeholder, never a bare postsnag.com link.

How it ships

A single download from the affiliate portal (one zip: knowledge file, skill file, GPT instructions, master prompt, NotebookLM guide, plus a one-page "how to install this in 2 minutes" per platform). Update the knowledge file whenever the product changes; affiliates re-download, everything stays current.

Acceptance criteria

1. Knowledge file is fully self-contained, current, and carries the approved-claims and banned-vocabulary lists.

2. All four formats (Claude skill, custom GPT, master prompt, NotebookLM) produce on-brand, factually correct content from the same knowledge file.

3. The personalization interview runs first and demonstrably changes output voice for different personas (test: older man, young mom, college student on the same topic produce clearly different posts).

4. Generated content always includes disclosure and the referral link placeholder.

5. Kit downloads as one zip from the affiliate portal with per-platform install instructions.
