Video View Counts Everywhere: See a Video's Real Reach, Not Just Its Likes

View counts for every video, right in the sidebar, your dashboard cards, and your exports, so you can finally tell true reach apart from surface-level engagement.

The problem

Likes and comments measure who engaged, not who watched: a video can pull modest likes and still reach a huge audience, or big likes off a small, primed one, and you can't tell which without the view count next to it. Facebook shows the view count in exactly one place, on the video itself while you're watching, not in a feed or a profile's history, so you either ignore reach or click into every video by hand.

What we're building

View counts pulled in for every video you capture, surfaced everywhere you already look at post data instead of tucked behind a click.

  • View count shown in the sidebar while you're actively capturing.

  • View count on the post card for every video in your dashboard.

  • View count included as its own column in every export.

How it works for you

Every video you capture now carries its view count right alongside likes, comments, and shares, in the sidebar and on the card. Export the profile and the view count comes along, ready to sort or chart.

What you get

  • A true reach number for every video, not a proxy or an estimate.

  • The ability to spot a video that quietly traveled far despite an average like count.

  • Reach data in your exports, ready for reporting without manual lookups.

For example

Two videos from the same page each pull around 150 likes, nothing remarkable, but the view counts tell a different story: one sat at 4,200 views, the other at 61,000, fifteen times the audience for the same like count.

What it unlocks

Reach is the missing half of every engagement read PostSnag gives you, so overperformance scoring, Discovery ranking, and comparisons can account for how far a video spread. It also sharpens format analysis: "video versus photo" becomes a real comparison instead of a guess.

Who it's for

Anyone studying video performance seriously: creators finding their next format, marketers benchmarking a page's video strategy, and agencies showing a client what actually reached people.
